We headed up north about 30 minutes to this hole-in-the-wall, off-the-beaten-path restaurant called Mintama. I've found that those are generally the best kind, and this was no exception. We were the only Americans in the place and it was very quaint and nice. And they had a menu in English so we didn't have to point to something randomly on the menu!
We split an anchovy pizza appetizer and Tommy had gnocchi in a bleu cheese sauce. I had the mahi mahi and everything was DELISH!! It was so yummy! Then to top it off we drove to the Air Force base and had a piece of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and our night was complete! Great food, great atmosphere, and some quality alone time with my hubby. A wonderful night!
