Tommy's promotion to 1st Lierutenant was this morning. He was promoted along with five of his peers. Traditionally, the Marine getting promoted will select up to two people to "pin on" your new bars to your cammies, but Tommy chose to wear his flight suit so that Wyatt could remove his old patch and replace it with a new one. The patches are velcro, and much easier to replace for a two-year old than the bars with the heavy-duty (and sharp!) pins. It was so sweet to watch. Wyatt was so proud that daddy asked him to help! And I am super proud of my hubby :) Here is a little video of the "action" followed by some more pics! In the video, Wyatt was putting on his patch and then went back to say "Congratulations, Dad!"
