Wyatt Thomas "the Tank Engine" Parker turned 3 on Sunday and we had quite the day celebrating! We woke up and made birthday waffles, which are Wyatt's favorite!
Then we commenced with the opening of the presents from mom & dad, grandpa & grandma, and grandma & Aunt Christy. That took up most of the morning and he just loved it all! So much so that there was no convincing him to lie down and rest before his big party, so there was no nap for the birthday boy. The aftermath of the opening of the gifts in our living room:
We celebrated in style at an indoor kiddie playground that Wyatt just loves called Mona Kid's Jungle. They had a party room so we got a cake and decorated the room in Thomas the Tank Engine style (Wyatt's middle name is Thomas, after all). He had a great time playing with his friends, eating cake & ice cream, and opening more gifts! We had one tired little boy on our hands!
We picked up sushi on our way home and had one last big surprise in store for the birthday boy... his very own tool bench. He loves it and has been playing with it all day!
All in all, a great birthday. I just can't believe my "baby" is three. He is getting so big! He is such a great little boy. Well-mannered, funny, witty, clever, smart and soooo cute! Sure do love my little guy. ;)
