The Living Room Unveiled

I haven't posted a picture of our main living room area yet because it was pretty much a disaster. But this past week we were able to finally get the boxes out and get things organized and hung on the walls.  And - we found this beautiful entertainment center which I absolutely love!  But then Tommy just couldn't deal with our old-school 19" TV sitting on this so he found a new TV on sale to go with it.  We have the AFN (Armed Forces Network) here which provides basic cable, so it's pretty nice.  Yes, folks, you read that right: The Parkers have cable for the first time in 5 years!

Again, ignore the poop-colored walls.  This camera doesn't pick up the true color of the walls very well.
But all the boxes (sans the new baby's room) have been  unpacked and we are starting to feel at home here.

Tommy had some time off for the Marine Corps' birthday and Veterans Day this week (3 days. LOVE the Air Wing!) so we went to Manzamo Point to swim in the tide pools and view from the cliffs. There is no way I can adequately put into words how amazing it was, and unfortunately my camera was out of commission.  We plan to go back soon though, and I can't wait to post the pictures!
